Welcome To Our Team, T.K.!

We are excited to announce the addition of our newest team member, Dr. T.K. Harris.

Dr. T. K. Harris has over 15 years of professional experience focused on STEM education, ELL, leadership, and magnet program implementation. She is a former lead teacher, grade-level administrator, instructional specialist, resource coach, and curriculum coordinator.

Some of her qualifications include curriculum development, strategic planning, instructional coaching, data-driven instruction, professional development, and departmental supervision.

Dr. Harris’ educational certifications include English as a Second Language, elementary education, secondary science and administration.

Dr. Harris has worked with various schools and districts in Maryland, California, Alabama, and across Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry, a Master’s degree in elementary education, and a Specialist and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas, respectively.

In addition to being an educator in schools and districts, Dr. Harris also sees herself as the primary educator for her 4 children. This role enables her to advocate for the well-being and education of all students as if they were her own children.
